Cultural Heritage Meets Modern Weaving Techniques!
The EXSILIUM Exhibition symbolizes a new beginning for what is referred to as an exile internship project. Students from the Carpet Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Traditional Turkish Arts, have created an exhibition that blends this cultural heritage, the art of weaving passed down through generations, with modern techniques. Visitors are invited into the world of the subconscious, life, thoughts, decisions, and goals. A profound journey awaits you with contributions from Nelumbo Studio.
Weaving, Printing, Tafting, and Punch Techniques Were Used.
Curated by Dilşad Ergün, the exhibition features works by Berfin Sude Çevik, Hande Erçel, Zeynep Naz Çaykara, and Dilşad Ergün. The artists interpret various disciplines such as weaving, printing, tafting, and punch in an original way.
